BEGIN IN THE NEW TESTAMENT

1. Start with the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John):
For new Christians, a great place to begin a Bible reading plan is the New Testament. We recommend starting with the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and  John.

Why: These books provide foundational accounts of Jesus' life and teachings, which are essential for understanding the core of Christianity.

How: Read one chapter a day, or a few verses, and reflect on what you've read.

Tips: Use a Bible translation that is easy to understand, such as the New International Reader's Version (NIrV). Consider using a Bible app like YouVersion or BibleGateWay, which offer audio and study tools. Write down your thoughts and questions as you read. Pray about what you've read and ask for understanding. When you have questions, ask! We are here to help. Fill out the form below and ask us your questions.
